Wow UR Big Now!

This week we had Kindergarten Roundup. Basically we registered Hayden for Kindergarten. Now I did not think it would bother me, I mean we are just registering for next school year. But guess what it did. I started getting emotional. Its not like he has not gone to school everyday since he was born but Wow Kindergarten. I said to Mike I feel like his little innocence will all start to change now that he is in a big school. Since he has turned 5 he has become so independent. In example he got himself dressed today. He was so proud he put on shorts and a shirt without telling us. He decided it was time to get dressed. Good news is I know he is still going to need his Momma because it is like 40 degrees outside and not Halloween.

Chef Ava!

Ava has just started developing this huge imagination. She was playing Kitchen Cook when she realized she had these aprons and hat. If you look closely she has two aprons on. The one underneath my sister made her. Well as it turns out she would not even take her apron off, all day. Just in case she had to cook at a moments notice. Ava keeps us in stitches she is so funny. As I sitting here posting on the blog she just brought me strawberries in a cup that she said she made in her garden. Seriously what 2 year old thinks this way. LOL.

Cont. What we have been up to...

Hayden also thinks he is MR. Cool, Ava still loves playing with her babies now they have to wear diapers, socks and shoes. We still try to have movie night once a month. Always play with our cousins especially in there own swimming pool in the house. And then there is our little Ava who is our comedian she had to try on Bubba's underwear and she was rockin it. LOL.

What we have been up to...

I just downloaded a ton of pictures. I will post a lot of them to see what we have been up to. Sorry I have been so bad hopefully now I can keep up. We have baked a ton of cookies, played in the ice with no coat, Ava turned 2 and had pancakes for breakfast, She also loves to feed her babies.

Tricycle Time!

Last night Mike decided to add some lighting to our Garage. So we were all out there helping. Or as Mike would say all in the way and Ava found the tricycle. My mom gave this to Hayden years ago but we kept it for another kiddo. Well she decided that she is big enough to try and ride it. We were cracking up because she could only go backward at first. Of course Big Brother Hayden kept trying to help her. She finally got the hang of it. But could not steer so she would get off then lift the bike to move which way she wanted to go. I can not believe my little girl is now big enough to ride a tricycle. Where does all of the time go?

Gardening 101

Last summer I decided to start a vegetable garden. Since I do not have a lot of room in my backyard I used containers. I planted my garden this spring, maybe too early, we will see. I have planted tomatoes, spinach, broccoli, strawberries, and my herb garden. We will see if anyone has any tips please feel free to pass them along to me. I am so new to this and would love any help I can get.

Is this what Kids are For?

Tonight as we were starting our routine fixing dinner etc. I told Hayden he had to either set the table or clear the table after we ate He choose to set the table and told me Ava would clear the table. I said that sounded great. So he set the table and did a great job. We enjoyed our yummy dinner then Ava cleared the table. She did a great job. We then decided to fold the towels in the dryer and they wanted to help. Who am I to argue for helping fold laundry. Next Hayden asked if he could vacuum the kitchen floor. I said Of course you may. He was on a mission and I loved it. Then Ava decided she wanted to help so she put away all of my shoes that were out (4 pairs). Now I ask is this the luxury I have to look forward too? I can get use to all this help.

YEE HAW!

We went to the Houston Rodeo and Livestock Show this year with the Fruia's. We had so much fun. Unfortunately it was raining the whole time so we did not get to enjoy the carnival but we did however get to spend a lot of time with the animals. Hayden and Ava loved seeing all of the animals. But they absolutely loved the rodeo. Hayden still can not pick his favorite part. He also still can not believe that his Uncle Toby use to ride bulls like the cowboys he saw. It was so much fun and we thank the Fruia's for having us.

Hayden Soccer

Ok so I have been gone for awhile. Hayden has started playing Soccer. He plays for GLASA and his team is 3vs3. It is so cute to watch the kids run around and the best part of it is he runs with a smile on his face the whole time he is playing. Mike and I crack up watching the game. It is so hard not to get out there and just show them what to do. We have a great coach and good parents. If you ever in the area on Saturday come watch him (hint hint Mom and Dad). LOL.
