Prayers

Sorry for not posting in a couple of days. We have been super busy. Had a great weekend. Will post later about that. But we had some bad news Sunday morning. Mike's Grandma suffered a massive stroke. She is in the hospital still and stable. We are not sure what her prognosis is but we ask for your prayers. Pray that God is with her at this time and she is in peace. Thank you all for your warm thoughts and prayers. We will keep up updated.

End of Baseball

Tonight was Hayden's last baseball game for the fall. I'm glad he had so much fun, but also glad it is over. Two games a week is a lot for a 4 year old. I think Dad is glad to have it over pitching to a 6 inch strike zone is pretty hard. They received their trophies tonight and was very excited. Tio showed up so he was excited to show off for him. I also included a few pictures of the kids on their swing set. Its great to see the joy they have swinging and playing. Wish I could have the joy from the simple things. Hayden also got a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch and wanted to decorate it. He is very creative. Hope you all have a good night as I am now off to bake cookies and brownies for the fall festival at school.

Friday Night

On Friday afternoon my nephew Jack came home with me to hang out and play with Hayden and Ada (that's what he calls Ava). Both kids were so excited when Jack and I picked them up from school.

The 3 kids always play so well together. Ava and Jack play together or take things from each other and then they follow Hayden around the whole time. Whatever Hayden is doing so is Jack and Ava. Needless to say the playroom was a disaster but man what fun messing it up. Jack is so funny to me he loves Thomas train and Cars. He could not decide which one he wanted most. Mike took the kids outside to play while I cooked dinner. Hayden and Mike were playing baseball but Jack wanted in. But instead of letting Mike pitch to him he would just walk up to Mike and swing at his hand. Pretty Funny.

The best part of the night was after dinner Hayden had ice cream (Ava and Jack were already back playing). I was doing dishes and I looked over and both the toddlers were sitting on either side of him and he was sharing his ice cream with them. It is so amazing to me to see such compassion come out of him with these two little ones. He is such a great big brother and cousin. He can be the sweetest boy ever. It made our night and it made the toddlers night.

OH MY AVA!

Oh my did we have a scare tonight. Mike was working late tonight so I of course used this as an excuse to not fix dinner. My poor kids if it wasn't for Mike I'm sure we would have makeshift dinners every night. I fixed a can of soup for the kids to share and as Ava always does she starts climbing in her highchair. Before I could get over there to help her she fell off the side flipped in air and face planted into the tile. She was screaming Hayden was actually eating asking whats wrong with sissy and I'm panicking. She is ok but she was crying so much and we were trying to keep her from falling asleep. Then she choose to get real quite and sleepy. So I am planning on rushing to the ER, I call Mike and he every so calmly, says wait till he gets home in 10 mins. Mike walks in Ava perks up and is back to her old self. So moral of the story: Daddy's are always lifesavers.

Here is a cute pic of the kids after bath time. Notice the pj pants, they were made by there lovely Aunt Betsy. She makes everything. Also Hayden had to do a list of B words for school and he wanted his to have words no one else would have. He came up with Blimp, blob, Bi-plane, and Betsy. He is so proud of Betsy because no one will have that. Have a good night.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch on Sunday afternoon. Of course we went while the cowboys were playing thinking it might not be that crowded but think again. We love the pumpkin patch it just seems to kick off fall for us. We usually go a few times since it is almost in our backyard.

Hayden just bursts with excitement as we pull in and he says he can hardly contain himself. He tried to get Ava on board with him but she just stared at him. She probably thought what great parents I have who would bring me her and flare up my allergies. She did fine thanks to all of her new meds. So here a few pics of them before we went, on the boogie woogie choo choo, and hayride and of course with the pumpkins. Hope you all enjoy.

Happy Fall!!!!!!

What a weekend!

Well we are very tired. We have cleaned like crazy this weekend. I was so sick of our study that I could not stand it anymore so Sunday we started cleaning it. I just kept cleaning and cleaning. It now looks so good. Needs new furniture and to be decorated but other then that it is livable. We also decided to go through our clothes and ended up giving away 2 trashbag fulls. Then I cleaned out our bathroom and had another 3 trashbags. Wow what 1 study can transform into.

I also thought I would show you a picture of what I came home to Thursday night...I have never seen so many boxes. They were stacked outside of my garage door one end to one end. My work just decided that I needed some new stuff. One of our good friend Dave Jenson, helped me bring all of these in my garage. I am still not sure what I am going to do with all of these boxes but we will figure it out.

Our 1st Blog!

OK so we have finally started the blogging. Since I've only been a member since last February I figured it was time to get started. So here goes.

All is well here in the Fruia household. We are still doing our everyday stuff such as work & school, but Mike and I are amazed at how big our kiddos are getting. Hayden amazes us everyday how big he has gotten. He even pulled out his clothes for his field trip because he thought mommy might not remember and he needed to help me out. He is playing baseball this season again and it is coach pitch. Guess who the pitcher is? Your right it's Mike. Of course playing in the dirt is much more fun then actually playing baseball. But he loves playing and is excited every week to go. Hayden is loving PreK. He is writing and starting to read. We are so proud because he is so smart (doesn't get it from his parents). He is a good little boy with the biggest heart. He absolutely adores his baby sister and does not even mind sharing with her.

Ava is the apple of our eye. She cracks us up all day long. She is so funny. She even walks around and says "I'm funny." Man she is going to wear us out I can already tell. She is in the 2yr old class at school and thinks she is two. She is doing very well there and even does not need a sippy cup anymore. At school she was loving the monkeys, so we just had to get her a monkey. Oh my the monkey now goes everywhere. It even needs to eat dinner with us. She just loves her monkey. She is also our singer and dancer. We can not get her to shut up. She sings and dances through her entire day. Two of her favorite are the chicken dance and the Cha Cha Cha. She is the cutest little thing around (were biased).

So now that we decided to join the blogging world we hope to share with you a little every couple of days about our family. Welcome to our blog. Hope you like.
